The perfect pair of jeans is a staple of the modern wardrobe in all its forms: skinny, bootcut, low rise, high rise, dark, stone-washed, slashed – the choices are endless. Book our sewing techniques for jeans 4 evening online workshop and learn to make jeans that look like jeans with a professional finish.

We will be using the Closet Case Ginger Jeans pattern.

We will learn how to:

  • insert a fly front zip
  • jeans pocket
  • shaped waistband
  • machine and fell seams with confidence
  • rear patch pocket
  • stitching denim fabric
  • sewing threads for denim
  • machine needles
  • jeans buttons

This is a sampling workshop but if you would like to make and fit a toile (fitting shell) for your jeans you can book a Sewing Bee Workshop

This course is for intermediate and advanced dressmakers.
  • Cost: £49. The course fee does not include materials but we can advise on obtaining these.
  • Date: 11, 18, 25 August & 1 September – sorry, this course is fully booked but please contact us if you would like adding to the waiting list or to discuss other jean making course options.
  • Times: 7-9pm
