Pattern Cutting 2: Pattern Adaptations
Our Pattern Cutting 2: Pattern Adaptations course is for sewers, fashion and costume students who have basic pattern cutting knowledge.
It is an ideal follow-on course from our Pattern Cutting 1: garment blocks course.
Using basic garment blocks, you will explore a range of pattern adaptations by changing the blocks into different garment styles:

Moving darts using the bodice block

Suppressing a dart in a style line (seam)

Adding flare and gathers
- style adaptations of your choice
We have changed the format of our Sew Short Course programme in 2023 to make it more flexible for you. Instead of specific course dates you can now book any of the courses as a Sew Personal session or a shared Sewing Bee workshop. The session is limited to one or two sewers giving you lots of tutor time.

- Times: 10am-4pm
- Cost: £250 for a Sew Personal session or £125 per person for a shared Sewing Bee workshop

- To secure a place on the course fees are payable in advance. Unpaid for bookings will not be held.

- Jane White Couture Tuition cannot be responsible for student’s internet connection to join or during the course. In the event of an internet outage at our end an alternative date will be offered.
