Overlocking with jersey fabric
Learn to love jersey with our overlocking with jersey fabric workshop!
The session will cover:
- understanding your overlocker
- understand the stretch
- matching jersey to sewing pattern
- matching sewing pattern to jersey
- using the differential feet for perfect stitching
- how to construct and apply neck bands
- overlocking in the round
- and lots more top tips and techniques along the way!
We will be sampling stitches and techniques by making a sample T-shirt.
We have changed the format of our Sew Short Course programme in 2023 to make it more flexible for you. Instead of specific course dates you can now book any of the courses as a Sew Personal session or a shared Sewing Bee workshop. The session is limited to one or two sewers giving you lots of tutor time.
