Elizabeth has been sewing all her life, has a passion for fashion and had always wanted to undertake a City & Guilds qualification. Life, family and work had always got in her way but 2017 is the year her dream came true.
Elizabeth enrolled for the level 1 Award scheme undertaking the skirt unit. It was clear from the off that Elizabeth’s work was going to be very special. Her eye for colour and design is fabulous. Her practical skills match this.
With a design inspiration source of architecture, a range of amazing skirt design evolved. Her finished garment, made in Harris Tweed and cotton grosrain earned Elizabeth a well-deserved distinction, well done!
If you want to make your own City & Guilds story have at look at the page and gallery of work.
