Project Description
Bridie has now completed her third City & Guilds Fashion level 2 module. She designed, cut the pattern and made this fabulous wedding dress using couture level skills.
With outstanding attention to detail, the dress is supported by an inner corset, underlined onto calico to stop the bright tartan taffeta showing through on the right side, has a concealed zip, bound and horsehair braid hem to support the shape.
Bridie’s work was supported by extensive technical sampling and a calico toile for a perfect fit.
Well done Bridie, a well-deserved City & Guilds Fashion distinction!
